In the photographic series, <span class=\"c2\">NEGERLIEDER : \u201cHe pleads for an intensification of rhythm (Negro Rhythm)\u201d <\/span><span class=\"c5\">I wear masks modeled after Man Ray&#8217;s photographs of women posing with &#8218;African&#8216; masks produced towards the end of Dada (such as <\/span><span class=\"c5 c2\">Noire et Blanche)<\/span><span class=\"c5\">,<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"c5\">Hannah Hoch\u2019s <\/span><span class=\"c5 c2\">Ethnographic Museum<\/span><span class=\"c5\">\u00a0collages and the self-portraits of Elsa von Freytag Loringhioven which showcased her \u2018primitivist\u2019 jewelry and her interest in \u2018sauvage\u2019 motifs.
